Architect 24, the 42nd annual exhibition organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects was held from 23rd – 25th of February 2024 at the BMICH. The exhibition, under the theme ‘Resilience, Resourcefulness, Revival’ showcased architectural innovation, design work by its members and students along with a variety of activities and events to curate a knowledgeable and joyful experience. The Department of Architecture of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) participated in Architect 24 for the third consecutive year to exhibit their students’ work. The KDU stall was declared open on 22nd February 2024 with the honored participation of KDU Vice Chancellor, Rear Adimiral HGU Kumara, Rector, Southern campus Major General LCR Jayasuriya and Dean, Faculty of Built Environment and Spatial Sciences, Dr. AH Lakmal, President of Sri Lanka Institute of Architects and other esteemed guests from the institute.
