Southern Campus held its inaugural inter-departmental debate with the participation of QS and IT/IS undergraduates (intake 38 and 39) as competitors. The event was organized by the English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) to develop the communication and presentation skills of students while enhancing their confidence in speaking English. Rector – Southern Campus, Dean – FBESS and Senior Deputy Dean of FDSS were present at the event along with military and academic staff. The competition was won by the team IT/IS with the highest number of votes from the participants. The enthusiasm demonstrated by students and their competency in language were highly commended by the audience.
The event concluded with a performance by the Aesthetic Club of Southern Campus.
