The academic staff of KDU Southern Campus had the invaluable opportunity of participating in an enlightening session on “Current Higher Education System in Sri Lanka and Recommendations for its Expansion” conducted by the Chairman, University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka, Senior. Professor Sampath Amaratunge on 29th July 2023. The session shed light on many significant aspects pertaining to higher education including university admission, webometrics ranking and research indexing. This brief event was an eye-opener for the faculty academia in obtaining insightful information on elevating the standards of local higher education.
