Leaders become great not because of their power but, because of their ability to empower others. At KDU, there is a great endeavor to transform each and every student into a leader with a view to pave the way for a sustainable tomorrow. The Rotaract Club of KDU Southern Campus participated in the “Rotaract Youth Leadership Awards” (RYLA) held on the 12th and 13th of March 2022. There are around 90 clubs in Sri Lanka, representing universities, institutions, mercantile businesses and communities. Out of 8000 members 90 were shortlisted to attend this event and the winner for the best female Rylarian was bagged by rotaractor Imandee Jayawardena who is a bright student in intake 38, Department of Quantity Surveying.
