Department of Spatial Sciences organized field practical work sessions for Intake 39 and Intake 40 students from 10.10.2023 to 14.10.2023 at Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) premises, Diyatalawa.
During the sessions, Intake 39 students covered the ILOs of Construction Surveying module including Curve setting out, Longitudinal sections and Cross sections. Intake 40 students engaged in Plane Surveying II module including Tacheometric Survey and Moderate Block Survey. Throughout the sessions, undergraduates were able to gain firsthand experience in surveying hilly areas and stretches of water and swamps.
