Dr. A.H. Lakmal assumed his duties as the new dean of Faculty of Built Environment and Spatial Sciences on 15th December 2020, succeeding Dr. A.R. Rupasinghe.
Dr. A.H.Lakmal has also served as the first Dean of Faculty of Built Environment and Spatial Sciences from 2015-2017 and this remarked as the start of his second tenure as the Dean of the faculty. Prior to this appointment he was a Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Engineering, KDU.
The faculty bade farewell to former Dean, Dr. A.R. Rupasinghe appreciating his contribution to the faculty as the dean from 2017-2020.
The faculty members including the academic staff and the non academic staff joined to congratulate the newly appointed Dean to wish him success in the future endeavors of his administrative role.
