PEER REVIEW PROCESS
peer review process section policies
KDU-JBE is a peer-reviewed research publication.
All articles submitted to
KDU-JBE are initially assessed by the Editor-in-Chief, who decides whether or not the article falls within the scholarly focus of the journal, and is suitable for peer reviewing.
If not accepted for peer-review, it will be immediately notified.
Those Submissions deemed suitable for the process of peer-reviewing are assigned to two independent experts, who assess the article for meaningfulness of argument, clarity, validity, sound methodology and their scholarly contributions etc.
KDU-JBE operates a double-blind peer review process, meaning that authors and reviewers remain anonymous for the review process and afterwards.
The review period is expected to take approximately four weeks.
Reviewers are requested to provide formative feedback, even if an article is not deemed suitable for publication.
Based on the reviewer reports, the editor-in-chief will make a recommendation – for either rejection, minor/major revisions, or acceptance.
Overall editorial responsibility rests with the journal’s Editor-in-Chief, who is supported by an expert international Editorial board, a web administrator Board as well as team of proof-readers.
