Industrial Training is compulsory component of the degrees of BSc (Hons) in Surveying Sciences and BSc (Hons) in Geoinformatics. Students must complete the Industrial Training component in order to graduate. The number of credits (Non-Grade Point Average – NGPA) allocated for industrial training is 6. During the industrial training, the primary fields covered are land surveying, construction surveying, hydrographic surveying, GNSS surveying, GIS, and Remote sensing. The duration of the Industrial Training program is 15 weeks, which is equivalent to a semester. Both surveying and geoinformatics students must finish the industrial training component in order to graduate from their degree programs.
