The Department of Industrial Quality Management was established in the year 2022 to produce graduates who will acquire an advanced level of education including both specialist knowledge and general intellectual and life skills that prepare them for gainful employment in the field of Industrial Management and other related disciplines nationally and internationally. Currently, this department offers two degrees named B.Sc. (Hons) in Industrial and Service Quality Management and B.Sc. (Hons) in Property and Investment Management degrees aiming the candidates from all streams of G.C.E (A/L) examination. Accordingly, both degrees have been designed to Level 6 of the Sri Lanka Qualification Framework (SLQF-2015) having 120 credits for each. This covers knowledge, skills, attitudes, and mindsets which are required to be a perfect professional in the field of industrial management. The curriculum of each programme includes modern knowledge areas in industrial management techniques which provide more opportunities for undergraduates to take an approach to industrial engagement in a convenient manner.
B.Sc. (Hons) in Industrial and Service Quality Management
The B.Sc. (Hons) in Industrial and Service Quality Management is an undergraduate degree program offered by the Department of Industrial Quality Management. This program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency in industrial and service-oriented organizations. Students who have completed the B.Sc. Honors in Industrial and Service Quality Management degree will have acquired an advanced level of education including both specialist knowledge and general intellectual and life skills that prepare them for gainful employment in the field of quality management and cover the knowledge, skills, attitudes and mindsets which are required to be a perfect professional in the field of sustainable quality management.
B.Sc. (Hons) in Property and Investment Management
The B.Sc. (Hons) in Property and Investment Management, offered by the Department of Industrial Quality Management, is an undergraduate degree program designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the real estate and investment industries.
